TANCET 2026: Key Exam Details and Login Procedures Announced

Anna University has unveiled essential details for the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) 2026, a pivotal examination for aspirants seeking admission to MBA and MCA programs across Tamil Nadu. Candidates will have a total of 120 minutes to complete the exam. Each correct response will earn one mark, while each incorrect answer will result in a deduction of 0.25 marks. The MCA examination will feature a similar structure, tailored to assess competencies relevant to the course.​

Eligibility Criteria: Prospective MBA candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree with a minimum aggregate of 50% (45% for reserved categories). MCA applicants are required to have a bachelor’s degree in BCA, B.Sc. (IT/Computer Science), or an equivalent qualification, with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories). Additionally, MCA candidates should have studied Mathematics at either the 10+2 level or during their undergraduate studies.

Application Process and Login Procedures: To streamline the application process, Anna University has introduced a dedicated TANCET portal. Applicants must create an account using a valid email ID and password. This login will grant access to various functionalities, including:
