MAT 2025 Registration Near Deadline; CBT Exam on 21 December

Synopsis: Registrations for the MAT December 2025 session — particularly for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) — are closing on 15 December 2025. The exam will be held on 21 December 2025, and admit cards will be released on 18 December 2025. Candidates can apply online at mat.aima.in for MBA/PGDM admissions across over 600 management institutes nationwide.

The All India Management Association (AIMA) has issued a final call for registrations for the MAT December 2025 session, with the window for the computer-based test (CBT) closing tomorrow, 15 December 2025. Prospective MBA and PGDM candidates must complete their applications online at mat.aima.in before the deadline. 

The CBT examination is scheduled to be conducted on 21 December 2025 across multiple test centres nationwide. AIMA has announced that admit cards for the CBT will be available for download from 18 December 2025, and candidates are advised to keep track of the official portal for the download link after logging in with their registration credentials. 

Application and Fees
Graduates in any discipline and final-year undergraduate students are eligible to apply for the MAT December session. The registration fee for the CBT mode is ₹2,200, while candidates who previously registered for the paper-based test (PBT) can opt for the CBT by paying a reduced fee of ₹1,600

Exam Pattern and Structure
The MAT exam consists of five sections, each carrying 30 questions, making a total of 150 questions to be completed within 120 minutes. The marking scheme includes one mark for each correct answer, with a penalty of 0.25 marks for each incorrect response

Scope and Acceptability
MAT scores are widely accepted by management institutes across India, with over 600 participating B-schools recognising them for MBA and PGDM admissions. Participating institutions include prominent names such as Vellore Institute of Technology, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), NIT Surathkal, Xavier Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship, Amrita School of Business, and others. 

With registrations for the CBT mode closing imminently, candidates are urged to complete their enrolment and fee payment before the deadline to remain eligible for the December 2025 MAT cycle.
