TANCET 2026 Notification to Be Released on March 11; Registration Likely to Begin Soon

Synopsis: Anna University will release the TANCET 2026 notification on March 11. The exam, earlier expected in March, may now be held in April or May due to the delayed announcement. Anna University has updated the official website for the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) with the announcement that the TANCET 2026 notification will be released on March 11, 2026. Candidates will be able to download the official notification PDF from the exam website once it is published.

The notification was earlier expected in January, with the exam tentatively scheduled for March. However, due to the delay in the release of the notification this year, the TANCET 2026 exam is now expected to take place in April or May.

Along with the notification, important details such as the exam date, eligibility criteria, application process, and registration schedule will be announced. Candidates interested in MBA and MCA admissions in Tamil Nadu must appear for the TANCET exam.

Expected Registration Timeline

In the previous exam cycle, the notification was released on January 19, while the registration process started on January 24. Considering the revised schedule this year, the registration window is expected to open soon after the notification is issued.

If the previous timeline is followed, TANCET 2026 registrations may begin around March 16, 2026. The application window is expected to remain open for approximately 25 to 30 days, giving candidates adequate time to complete their registrations.

CEETA PG Notification Also Expected

Along with TANCET, the university will also release the notification for Common Engineering Entrance Test and Admissions for Postgraduate (CEETA PG) 2026. While TANCET is conducted for MBA and MCA admissions, CEETA PG is held for candidates seeking admission into ME and MTech programmes.

Both entrance exams will share a common registration window, admit card release date, and result announcement schedule, simplifying the admission process for postgraduate aspirants.

Candidates are advised to regularly check the official website for updates regarding application dates, exam schedule, and other key announcements.
