CAT 2025 Admit Card Release Postponed to November 12

Aspirants preparing for CAT 2025 should note a change in the timeline for downloading their admit cards. The hall ticket, originally slated for release on November 5, will now be available from November 12, 2025, according to an official update from IIM Kozhikode. 

Key Details & Instructions:

• The official website for downloads is iimcat.ac.in. Candidates must log in using their CAT credentials to access the admit card.
• Downloading will remain possible up to the exam date, which is set for November 30, 2025.
• The admit card will include crucial information: candidate’s name, category, photograph, exam date/time, slot, test centre address and exam day instructions.
• No physical copy of the admit card will be mailed; candidates must print the download or save a PDF copy for the test day. 

What Candidates Should Do:

1. Ensure login credentials (ID and password) are ready before November 12.
2. On November 12, access the portal promptly, download the admit card, check all details and print/keep multiple copies.
3. Verify the allotted test centre address and slot; plan commute and arrival time accordingly.
4. On exam day, carry the printed admit card along with a valid photo identity proof (Aadhaar, PAN, passport, etc.).

Why the Delay Matters:
The postponement, though brief, gives candidates additional time to prepare logistics and ensures the hall ticket distribution system is smooth. However, last-minute network or download issues can still arise, so it’s advised to complete the process early.

With the admit card release date now confirmed and available on the official portal, registered candidates are encouraged to monitor announcements and avoid last-minute rushes. Secure your admit card soon after November 12 and ensure all test-day preparations are in place.
