CAT 2025 Answer Key Challenge Window Opens – Candidates Can Raise Objections Now

The conducting body for CAT has activated the objection window for CAT 2025 answer key starting today, 8 December 2025. This gives candidates an opportunity to challenge any discrepancy they believe exists in the provisional answer key released after the exam. 

All examinees who appeared in the exam held on 30 November can access their slot-wise response sheet and the official answer key by logging in at the official portal iimcat.ac.in. Once logged in, they can compare their marked answers with the official key to spot any potential errors. 

How to Raise an Objection

Candidates who wish to challenge an answer must follow this process:

• Login to the CAT portal using credentials (user ID and password)
• Navigate to the “Objection Form / Objection Management” section
• Select the question ID(s) in dispute, choose the nature of objection (e.g. “correct option wrong/none of the options correct”), and provide justification or supporting references
• Upload relevant supporting documents (if any), and pay the objection fee of ₹1,200 per question
• Submit the form before the window closes at 11:55 PM on 10 December 2025
