CAT 2025 on November 30: Key Documents Candidates Must Carry on Exam Day

Synopsis: With CAT 2025 scheduled for November 30, candidates are urged to focus not only on revision but also on arranging all mandatory documents for the exam day. The required list includes the admit card, valid photo ID, PwD-related documents, medical certificates (if applicable), and official authorization forms.

CAT 2025 will be held on November 30, and as candidates wrap up their final revision, they must also prepare the essential documents required at the exam centre. With only a few days left, balancing preparation and planning becomes crucial, especially regarding exam-day verification.

The CAT 2025 admit card remains the most critical document. Candidates must carry two A4-sized printouts of the admit card, each with a pasted passport-sized photograph. One signed copy will be submitted at the centre, while the other must be retained. Digital or photocopied versions will not be accepted.

A valid Government-issued photo ID is mandatory for identity verification. Accepted IDs include Aadhaar card, PAN card, voter ID, passport, driving licence, or a recognised college/university ID.

PwD candidates using a scribe must bring the Scribe Affidavit, downloadable from the official CAT website. All PwD candidates, whether using a scribe or not, will receive 13 extra minutes per section.

Candidates who have undergone a name change must carry an official name change certificate. Those with medical conditions requiring a bio-break must bring a medical certificate issued by an MBBS doctor, although lost time will not be compensated.

Additionally, candidates may be required to sign a Test Day Exception Form if any unusual situation arises. Those needing to carry restricted items for medical reasons must bring an Authorization Form issued by IIM Calcutta prior to exam day.
