Synopsis: The registration window for the CMAT 2026 (Common Management Admission Test) has been extended to November 24, 2025 (11:50 PM), with fee payment permissible until November 25, 2025. Participants will also have a correction window from November 26–28, 2025, giving aspirants more time to submit complete and accurate applications.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced an important update for candidates of CMAT 2026. The last date for submitting online applications has been extended to November 24, 2025 (till 11:50 PM), and the deadline for paying the application fee is November 25, 2025. Additionally, a correction window will be open from November 26 to November 28 for candidates to amend certain application details.

  • Registration start date: October 17, 2025.
  • Last date (extended): November 24, 2025. 
  • Fee payment last date: November 25, 2025. 
  • Correction window: November 26–28, 2025.

Application Steps

Candidates must visit the official portal (cmat.nta.nic.in) to:

  1. Register as a new user and generate login credentials.
  2. Complete the application form with accurate personal and academic information.
  3. Upload required documents (photograph, signature, category certificate if applicable).
  4. Pay the fee online using net banking, UPI, or debit/credit card.
  5. Download the confirmation page and keep it for future reference.

Fee Structure & Eligibility

  • General (Male) candidates: ₹2,500
  • Female / Reserved / Third Gender candidates: ₹1,250 
  • Eligibility: Any graduate in any discipline or final-year student of the bachelor’s programme. There is no upper age limit.

What Aspirants Should Do Immediately

With the deadline extension in place, aspirants should act promptly to avoid technical glitches at peak time. They are advised to:

  • Submit the application early before the November 24 deadline.
  • Ensure accurate and verifiable details in the form to minimize correction needs.
  • Use the correction window (Nov 26–28) to make minor edits if required.
  • Retain proof of registration and payment for record-keeping.

The CMAT 2026 score holds priority for admission into AICTE-approved management programs across India. With the extension now in effect, candidates have a renewed window to complete their registration process and prepare for the exam cycle ahead.
