Eligibility Criteria for Admission

IIM Calcutta selection criteria for MBA batch 2025-2027 has been announced. The admission policy for the upcoming batch is  same as last year. As per the IIM Calcutta admission criteria 2025, the qualifying CAT 2024 cut off is 85 percentile for General Category. The Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) together had the weightage of 56 points for final selection to MBA course of IIM Calcutta.Weightage allotted to CAT exam score was 56 points for PI shortlisting and 30 points for final selection.

As per the IIM Calcutta Admission Policy 2025-2027, the academic eligibility criteria will be minimum 50 percent in graduation or equivalent (45 percent for SC/ST/PwD candidates). The WAT-PI round of IIM Calcutta will be held in February 2025 in online mode and the institute shortlists the candidates three weeks after CAT 2024 result announcement. This year, final CAT cut offs of IIM Calcutta is expected to be between 99-98 percentile.
