Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM Indore) is a premier management institute located in Rau, Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Established in 1996, it is known for its innovative programs and holistic education approach. The institute offers a range of courses, including the flagship Post Graduate Programme in Management (MBA), the unique five-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM), and specialized programs like the Master of Science in Data Science and Management (MSDSM).

IIM Indore boasts excellent placement records, with an average package of ₹27-30 lakhs per annum and top recruiters like Deloitte, Accenture, and Goldman Sachs. The two-year MBA fees are approximately ₹20-22 lakhs, while the IPM fees stand at around ₹32 lakhs for five years.

Known for its modern campus, experienced faculty, and student-centric culture, IIM Indore ranks among the top B-schools in India. Its rigorous admission process considers entrance exams like CAT and IPMAT.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission

The selection criteria for a majority of IIMs in India are quite similar to each other with subtle differences depending on the institute concerned. IIM Indore has introduced some major changes to its admission process and selection criteria for the academic session of 2025-27. The significant modifications to the shortlisting and final selection criterion for admission to IIM Indore in 2025 are as follows:

  • Only 20% of the final merit list that is generated after the PI Round is based on the CAT 2024 score.
  • Academic achievement in classes 10 and 12 are given 74% of the weight in the selection process for Pl.
  • 6.4% Weight is given for Diversity Factor (DF)
  • Total Maximum Weightage Percentage is now 80 instead of 100.
  • The final round of selection will not include a Written Ability Test (WAT) round
  • When generating the final merit list, Pl is given 40% weight.
