IIM Kozhikode Releases CAT 2025 Response Sheet & Provisional Answer Key; Objection Window Closes

The Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025 authorities, led by IIM Kozhikode, have released the response sheet and provisional answer key for all three exam slots on 4 December 2025. These documents are now available for download in PDF format at the official portal (iimcat.ac.in) using individual login credentials which include the application number and password. 

The response sheet contains the answers marked by candidates during the exam, while the provisional answer key provides the official correct responses as released by the conducting body. Together, these allow test-takers to estimate their tentative raw scores and percentiles by applying the CAT marking scheme — typically +3 for correct and –1 for wrong multiple-choice responses. 

After the provisional answer key was published, IIM Kozhikode opened an objection window from 8 December to 10 December 2025. During this period, candidates had the opportunity to raise challenges online against any discrepancies they believed existed in the provisional key by submitting supporting evidence and the prescribed fee. The objection submission phase has now officially closed. 

Once all objections are reviewed, the institute will finalise the answer key, which will then form the basis for calculating the official scores. Following this, the CAT 2025 results — which determine admissions to IIMs and other top MBA schools nationwide — are expected to be announced later in December 2025 or in early January 2026 based on historical reporting timelines. 

This transparent release process helps ensure fairness and allows aspirants to gauge their performance accurately ahead of the final outcome.
