The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Tiruchirappalli has released its audited placement report for the 2024–25 academic cycle, showcasing a strong recruitment season across both PGPM and PGPM-HR programmes. A total of 189 recruiters participated in the PGPM placements, while the PGPM-HR programme attracted 40 companies, reflecting continued industry confidence in the institute.
This year, the highest salary package for PGPM students touched ₹43.94 lakh, marking one of the strongest offers recorded by the institute. For PGPM-HR candidates, the top package reached ₹33.12 lakh. The average annual compensation stood at ₹19.27 lakh for PGPM and ₹17.84 lakh for PGPM-HR, signalling stable hiring trends.
Recruiters represented a broad mix of sectors including consulting, BFSI, IT, FMCG, energy and operations. Renowned organisations such as McKinsey, JP Morgan Chase, Accenture, Godrej and Shell participated, offering roles in strategy, finance, analytics, operations and more.
The summer internship season also reflected positive momentum. Over 150 companies offered internship opportunities, ensuring diversified exposure for first-year students. The highest summer stipend reached ₹3.5 lakh for PGPM and ₹2 lakh for PGPM-HR, highlighting competitive corporate interest across both programmes.
Overall, IIM Trichy’s placement performance for 2024–25 reaffirms its growing reputation among top recruiters and reinforces its position as one of India’s emerging management institutes.
