JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Registration Ends; Form Correction Window Opens Next

Synopsis: JEE Main 2026 Session 1 registration has officially closed, with nearly 14.3 lakh applicants. The form correction window will open from December 1 to 2, allowing limited edits. The exam is scheduled from January 21 to 30, 2026, followed by results on or before February 12, 2026.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially closed the registration process for JEE Main 2026 Session 1, with the final date being November 27, 2025. As per media reports, an estimated 14.3 lakh candidates have applied for the January session this year, marking a strong turnout.

The next step for aspirants is the JEE Main 2026 form correction window, which will be available from December 1 to December 2, 2025. This one-time facility allows candidates to rectify mistakes in specific fields of the application form. The list of editable fields has already been published on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. No further corrections will be allowed once the window closes.

The JEE Main 2026 Session 1 exam will be conducted in CBT mode from January 21 to January 30, 2026, across two shifts daily—morning and afternoon. Candidates can expect the city intimation slip in the first week of January, followed by the admit card in the third week of January.The results for the January session are scheduled to be released on or before February 12, 2026, concluding the first phase of the examination cycle.
