Aspirants aiming for admission to MBA and PGDM programs through the MAT 2026 now have the latest update: the registration process for the February session has started on 25 December 2025. The All India Management Association (AIMA) has officially announced the exam schedule and opened the online application form on its portal at mat.aima.in.
The MAT 2026 exam will be conducted in two modes: Paper-Based Test (PBT) and Computer-Based Test (CBT), giving candidates flexibility in choosing how they wish to appear. The PBT mode test is slated for 1 March 2026, while the CBT mode test will take place on 8 March 2026. Applicants should ensure they complete their MAT 2026 registration and fee payment before the respective deadlines.
Graduates from any recognized discipline — and final-year students awaiting results — are eligible to apply for the MAT 2026 exam as per AIMA’s norms. During registration, candidates must provide personal and academic details, select the exam mode and preferred test centers, upload required documents (photograph, signature), and complete the payment process online.
The MAT score is accepted by over 800 MBA/PGDM institutes across India, making it a widely recognised pathway for management aspirants. Candidates can choose to appear in one or both test modes; if opting for both PBT and CBT, they can utilize the best score for admissions.
With registration now live and exam dates confirmed, MBA hopefuls should prioritise completing the application process early to secure their preferred test mode and centers.
