Synopsis: The registration for the December 2025 session of the MAT (Management Aptitude Test) closes on 7 December 2025 for the Paper-Based Test (PBT). Candidates who wish to take the exam in PBT mode must complete their application on or before this date. The exam is conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA) and accepted by hundreds of MBA/PGDM colleges across India.

Aspirants aiming for MBA or PGDM through the December 2025 cycle of MAT should note — the last date for registration in PBT mode is just a few days away. According to official updates, registrations for MAT 2025 (PBT) will close on 7 December 2025.

Registration Process & Fees

  • The application form is available on the official MAT portal (mat.aima.in). Candidates need to register, fill in personal and academic details, upload a recent scanned photograph and signature, choose test cities and preferred colleges, and complete the payment.
  • The standard registration fee is ₹2,200 for one exam mode (PBT or CBT).

MAT is offered in two modes — Paper-Based Test (PBT) and Computer-Based Test (CBT), giving flexibility to candidates according to their convenience and location. Over 800 MBA/PGDM institutes across India accept MAT scores.

  • Visit the official MAT website, register or log in using existing credentials, and complete the form immediately.
  • Double-check and upload valid scanned documents (photo, signature) as per specifications. 
  • Choose preferred test city and institutions carefully — changes aren’t permitted later.
  • Pay the fee online and download the confirmation / payment receipt for future reference.

With just a few days left, MAT aspirants should prioritise completing registration to secure their slot. Since many top B-schools consider MAT scores for admission, missing the deadline could cost a valuable opportunity.
