MP Police Constable Recruitment 2025 Sees Record 9 Lakh Applicants, Including MBA and MTech Graduates

Synopsis: Over nine lakh candidates, including MBA, M.Tech, and PhD holders, have applied for 7,500 MP Police Constable posts, despite the eligibility being only high school. Centres will be set up across 11 districts, and applications may exceed 10 lakh.

The Madhya Pradesh Police Constable Recruitment 2025 has received an overwhelming response, with over nine lakh candidates applying for just 7,500 constable positions. Interestingly, several applicants hold advanced degrees such as MBA, M.Tech, and PhD, despite the eligibility requirement being only a high school qualification. Many educated youths have expressed their desire to join the police force out of passion for the khaki uniform and a sense of public service.

Exam Centres and Schedule

The Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (ESB) is conducting the recruitment examination in 11 districts, including Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Khandwa, Neemuch, Rewa, Ratlam, Sagar, Satna, Sidhi, and Ujjain. Initially scheduled to begin on October 30, the exam is now expected to be conducted in November 2025 due to the extension of the registration deadline.
