NTA Exam Calendar 2025: Dates Announced Soon

Expected Exam Dates for JEE Main, NEET UG, and CUET UG 2025

According to the latest reports, the JEE Main 2025 is expected to be conducted in two sessions: January and April. These exams are vital for engineering aspirants across the country who aim to secure admissions into the top-tier engineering institutes, including the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and National Institutes of Technology (NITs).

Similarly, the NEET UG 2025, crucial for medical aspirants, is expected to be held in May. NEET remains the primary gateway to MBBS, BDS, and other allied healthcare courses.

The CUET UG, designed to centralize the admission process for undergraduate programs in central universities, is likely to be held in two phases: May and June 2025.

While these tentative schedules have generated considerable buzz, the official dates are yet to be confirmed. Students are advised to regularly check the official NTA website—nta.ac.in—for live updates.

Registration for JEE Main 2025 to Begin Soon

In addition to the exam calendar, NTA has confirmed that the registration process for JEE Main 2025 will begin soon. Candidates should ensure they keep all necessary documents, including academic certificates and identification proof, ready for the application process.

Key Changes in JEE Main 2025 Exam Pattern

One of the biggest updates for JEE Main 2025 is the removal of the option to choose five questions out of ten in Section B. This change will impact both Paper 1 and Paper 2 of the JEE Main examination.

This optional section was originally introduced in 2020 as a pandemic-related measure to offer students flexibility. However, with the return to pre-pandemic norms, the Ministry of Education has decided to eliminate this option starting from the 2025 session. All candidates will now be required to attempt all questions in Section B, increasing the level of preparation needed to succeed.

Looking Back: Exam Dates for 2024

For reference, the 2024 exam cycle saw the following timelines: CUET UG was held from May 15 to May 29, NEET UG took place on May 5, and the two JEE Main sessions were conducted in January and April. These dates provide a framework for students as they prepare for the upcoming 2025 exam season.

What’s Next for Aspirants?

With the JEE Main 2025, NEET UG 2025, and CUET UG 2025 dates expected soon, it’s time for students to intensify their preparation strategies. It is crucial to stay updated on NTA’s announcements, ensure timely registration, and keep an eye on any further changes in the exam patterns.
