Synopsis: The recently released slot-wise analysis of SNAP 2025 (Test 1) reveals that while the English section remained easy across all three slots, the difficulty of Quant/Data-Interpretation (QA/DI-DS) and Analytical & Logical Reasoning (A-LR) varied. Experts estimate that a “good attempt” would be around 38–45 correct answers, depending on the slot and accuracy.

Exam Summary & Sectional Breakdown

  • English (Verbal & Reading-Comprehension): Consistently rated as easy in Slot 1, Slot 2, and Slot 3. Candidates mostly encountered grammar, fill-in-the-blank, error-spotting, vocabulary, para-jumbles and related verbal ability questions.
  • Analytical & Logical Reasoning (A-LR): Generally moderate across slots. Slot 1 and Slot 2 were manageable with typical reasoning puzzles. Slot 3 ranged from moderate to slightly tougher — a few students rated some questions as time-intensive.
  • Quantitative / Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency (QA/DI-DS): This section showed the most variation. Slots 1 and 2 presented tougher QA/DI-DS questions making calculation heavy; Slot 3 appeared relatively more manageable.

Good-Attempt & Performance Benchmarks

Based on the analysis:

  • Aiming for 38–45 correct attempts across sections is considered a strong performance, if accuracy is high enough.
  • In slots with tougher QA/DI-DS (Slots 1 & 2), time management and selective attempt strategy could be key.
  • Total score / percentile will likely depend more on QA/DI-DS + A-LR performance than on English alone, as English remains easy for most.

What Aspirants Should Do

  • Analyse your slot carefully — treat QA/DI-DS with caution; attempt only what you are confident about.
  • Use accuracy over quantity. Given negative marking and time pressure, blind attempts may backfire.
  • For those yet to appear, focus your last-minute prep on sharpening QA/DI-DS and LR speed under timed mocks.
  • Keep expectations realistic: a “good attempt” may vary slot-to-slot, but 40+ correct with good accuracy could be competitive.
