The Aspirants registered for JEE Main 2026 Session 1 should prepare to download their city intimation slips soon, as the National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to publish them in the first week of January 2026. The city intimation slip will provide advance information about the exam city and date for the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) before the release of the official admit cards.

The city intimation slip is a pre-admit document issued by NTA on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates must use their application number and password (or date of birth) to log in and download the PDF once the link becomes active. This advance notice helps candidates plan travel and accommodation well ahead of the exam.

According to the schedule, the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 exam dates are set between 21 and 30 January 2026. While the slip will indicate the city where the exam centre is located and the date of the exam, the exact exam centre address, shift and reporting time will be available later on the admit card — usually released a few days before the exam.
