Eligibility Criteria:

To apply for the UP Scholarship 2024-25, candidates must meet the following conditions:

  • Income Limit:
    • For General, OBC, and Minority students: Family income should not exceed Rs 2 lakh.
    • For SC/ST students: Family income should not exceed Rs 2.5 lakh.
  • The student must have passed their previous examination to apply for either fresh or renewal scholarships.
  • A valid caste certificate issued by a competent authority and a valid Aadhaar card are required for verification.

Students from minority backgrounds, such as Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Buddhist, Jain, and Parsi communities, should apply through the Minority Welfare Department’s official website.

Scholarship Renewal:

Students who received the scholarship in the previous academic year can apply for a renewal for the 2024-25 session. Renewal applicants must re-register using their existing login credentials and follow the same application process.

The UP Scholarship application process consists of several stages:

  1. Registration: Create an account on the official website.
  2. Aadhaar Authentication: Verify your Aadhaar card to proceed.
  3. Form Submission: Complete the scholarship form with required details.
  4. Institutional Verification: The school or college you are enrolled in will verify your application.
  5. District Welfare Committee Verification: A district committee will scrutinize the application.
  6. Fund Disbursement: Once verified, funds will be transferred to the student’s Aadhaar-linked bank account.

  • Fee receipt and enrollment number
  • Aadhaar card number
  • Recent passport-size photograph
  • Qualifying exam mark sheet
  • Caste and income certificates
  • Bank passbook (linked with Aadhaar)
